The league was incorporated as the Thibodaux Service League on March 12, 1974.
Our Fundraisers
Louisiana Legacy
Two cookbooks, Louisiana Legacy and Louisiana Legacy Today, featuring regional recipes.
Day in the Dirt
A spring family fun event with a touch a truck exhibit, backyard games,
relays, and fun for all.
BCCM
The children’s museum promotes the unique cultures of south Louisiana with entertaining, educational, and interactive experiences.
CASA
Advocates for the abused and neglected children by training and supporting community volunteers to be their voices in court.
Crossroads
A Christian organization that provides education, guidance and spiritual support to pregnant women and men in crisis.
Food Bank
Provide food and household items and other support to families in crisis.
Hope for Animals
Advocates, educates and provides temporary shelters for stray and abandoned animals.
Juvenile Justice
Provides children with temporary and long-term shelter.
Lafourche Parish Library
The League committee members assist the library staff with seasonal activities and presentations.
Project Prom Dress
Provides formal wear to girls who could not otherwise afford to attend their prom. Currently held at Thibodaux High School.
Share the Warmth
A winter coat drive to provide for kids Pre-K through 12th grade.
St. Francis Vegetable Garden
A non-profit garden located behind the Harang Auditorium that serves as an educational garden supplying local food banks with fresh produce.
Toy Drive
Coordinated by the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux, they collect and distribute toys for needy children over the holidays.
Upside Downs
A nonprofit dedicated to educating, advocating and supporting those with Down syndrome.
